How Images to PDF Works

ConvertUnlimited uses jsPDF, a lightweight JavaScript library, to generate PDF documents directly in your web browser. When you upload images, they are temporarily stored in your browser's RAM as raw pixel data. Our tool then arranges these images onto a PDF canvas based on your chosen orientation, page size, and margins.

Because the PDF construction happens entirely on your own device, your sensitive documents and personal photos are never transmitted over the internet. This local-first model provides local browser-based processing and avoids the long wait times associated with traditional cloud-based PDF creators.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a page limit?

We don't impose a limit, but very large batches (50+ high-resolution photos) may exceed your browser's allocated memory. If the tab becomes unresponsive, try creating smaller PDFs.

Can I reorder the images?

Yes. Simply use the individual "Move Up" or "Move Down" buttons (or remove images) to adjust the sequence before generating the final PDF.

Will my images lose quality?

We embed images at high resolution. However, downscaling may occur depending on your chosen page size (like A4) to ensure the document remains printable.

Browser Support

This tool works in all modern browsers supporting the HTML5 Canvas API and File API, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Privacy

Privacy build: This build removes ads, analytics, remote fonts, runtime CDN scripts, and file-operation telemetry. Selected files are processed in the browser using local JavaScript and browser APIs.

Your Images: Selected file contents are processed locally in your browser. ConvertUnlimited does not provide a server-side upload endpoint for this processing flow.
