Short answer

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the files and text you choose to process with ConvertUnlimited's tools. Do not use the tools to process content you do not have the right to use, content that infringes another party's rights, or content that violates applicable law.

Processing happens in your browser

For supported workflows, file processing happens in your own browser using client-side JavaScript and, for some tools, third-party libraries such as pdf-lib, jsPDF, PDF.js, JSZip, or heic2any. ConvertUnlimited does not provide a server-side upload endpoint for these processing flows, so the file and its handling remain your responsibility, including keeping your own backup copy before processing and verifying the output before you rely on it, share it, or delete the original.

Because processing depends on your browser and device, the same file may behave differently across browsers; a failure in one browser does not necessarily indicate a defect in the tool itself.

No warranty

ConvertUnlimited is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The site may change, a tool may become unavailable, and browser behavior may differ across devices and versions.

The tools are not a substitute for professional security, legal, compliance, archival, or forensic workflows, and outputs should be independently verified before being used for any purpose where correctness matters.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ConvertUnlimited and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the tools, including loss of data, loss of a file, or reliance on a converted or processed output. Use of the tools is at your own risk.

Eligibility and severability

You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you to use ConvertUnlimited. If you are using the tools on behalf of an organization, you are representing that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If a court of competent jurisdiction finds a provision of these terms unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will stay in effect.

Third-party libraries and licenses

Several tools depend on third-party open-source libraries: JSZip 3.10.1 (dual-licensed under the MIT license or GPLv3), jsPDF 2.5.1 (bundled with an MIT-style permission notice), PDF.js 3.4.120 (Apache License, Version 2.0, Mozilla Foundation), pdf-lib 1.17.1, and heic2any 0.0.4. pdf-lib and heic2any are used under their own respective open-source licenses; see the repository's third-party dependency inventory for the current list and versions.

These libraries implement specific tool features, such as PDF creation, PDF rendering, ZIP bundling for batch downloads, and HEIC decoding, and are not modified for the purpose of these terms.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the tools, vendors, or site behavior change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the current version of these terms; check this page for the version in effect at the time you use a tool.
